When writing or posting content online you want to make sure that your brand message is coming across clearly to your target market. Your words may be great but you need a little oomph to attract people and keep them reading with great fonts.
Although a typeface is commonly referred to as a font, it actually represents a collection of design elements. A font, on the other hand, pertains to the variations in weight and size of those design elements within the typeface. In general, fonts fall into two main categories: Serif and Sans Serif. Serif fonts are characterized by additional embellishments, such as curls, tilts, or dots, on letters like a, g, t, i, giving them a more decorative appearance. Conversely, Sans Serif fonts, where "sans" means "without," feature letters without these extra adornments.
